Sarah and Paul’s wedding at The Green Cornwall was one of those days that felt effortlessly perfect from start to finish. A glorious July wedding filled with pastel tones, stunning florals, laughter, and genuine, heartfelt moments — elegant yet relaxed, formal but full of fun.

From the moment I arrived, it was clear this was going to be a wedding centred on people, connection, and enjoying every second.

The ceremony took place outdoors in the beautiful gardens at The Green, surrounded by family and friends. With blue skies overhead and the soft summer light filtering through the trees, it was a truly idyllic setting.

The ceremony was led by My Cornwall Wedding, whose relaxed and personal approach suited Sarah and Paul perfectly. There was laughter, emotion, and that lovely hush that falls over guests during a meaningful ceremony — one of those moments where everyone is completely present.

Sarah looked incredible in her elegant, timeless gown, while Paul cut a sharp and classic figure, clearly trying (and only just managing) to hold back a tear as he waited.

Pastel Colours, Beautiful Florals & Thoughtful Details - The Green Cornwall

The styling of the day was absolutely spot-on. Soft pastel bridesmaid dresses complemented the natural surroundings beautifully, while the florals added colour, texture and a real sense of summer elegance.

Every detail had been carefully thought through — from the floral-adorned wedding cake to the table settings and décor. The balance of formal elegance with relaxed charm suited The Green perfectly and reflected Sarah and Paul’s personalities so well.

And the food… genuinely outstanding, the Chefs at The Green are amazing. One of those meals guests are still talking about long after the day has passed.

Relaxed Portraits & Real Moments by a Cornwall Wedding Photographer

After the ceremony, we took a little time for relaxed couple portraits around the grounds. Nothing forced, nothing over-posed — just Sarah and Paul enjoying a quiet moment together while the celebrations carried on nearby.

This is where The Green really shines. The gardens, open spaces and natural light create endless opportunities for beautiful, natural wedding photography without ever taking couples away from their guests for too long.

Alongside the portraits, the day was full of wonderful candid moments — family hugs, spontaneous laughter, and a fair bit of silliness (especially once everyone felt comfortable and the champagne had been flowing).

Golden Hour Magic & An Evening Full of Energy

As the sun dipped lower, we were treated to the most gorgeous golden hour light. Warm, soft and glowing — perfect for romantic portraits and those dreamy, sun-kissed moments that couples always treasure.

The evening celebrations were exactly as you’d hope: dancing, laughter, emotional embraces, and a packed dance floor. Sarah and Paul’s first dance was a real highlight — elegant, joyful, and completely them.

From the first look to the final dance, their wedding was a perfect mix of love, family, style and fun.
